We will call this part two of our recent adventure...
My dear friend, Lesley, celebrated her 40th birthday on July 3rd. Wanting to do it up her way, we were asked to wear our finest formal wear to the camp trip. Can you imagine? Never one to disappoint, the posse and I (And Lesley!!) came through in accepting the challenge and granting her her birthday wish....
Never legally married, Lesley was determined to finally wear that wedding dress.

The gentlemen are never left out and were asked to wear a tie as well.
Shirts optional.
Dustin even paraded us around the lake, for all the campsites to see. we got many hoots and hollers and congrats to the bride! Too funny!
My cheeks hurt terribly the next day from all the good times!
My dress soon became dubbed the Greek goddess...and my friend, Dziko accessorized it perfectly with my au naturale headpiece.

Special shout out to the rockin thrift stores in our area for supplying us with the perfect, coordinating dresses. They actually were not terrible...well, with the exception of Shelby's - green, third from left - her dress was a bit hideous.
She quickly became the "Mother of the (nonexistent) Groom".

The hubba and I colored coordinated our attire. Well, not really but it sure worked out that way. We find ourselves, more and more, feeling so lucky to have the group of friends that we do. Everyone knows how to have the best self inflicted good times. And we always involve the children and they continue to grow up and become better and better of friends.

Really. How freakin fun are you guys? Too too funny.
And if there isn't enough to say about all of you in your formal outdoor wear, the branches extending from your head are a nice touch also. Love it!
That is so funny! Looks like so much fun. Even though you're in your "bridesmaid's" dress, that last picture of you and your man is a framer!
